Janice, we are loving getting your reports, and seeing the photos. I didn't email you because I didn't think you would have time to read notes from home. However, I can tell you that Spring is still being kind to us, the weather is wonderful, and the trees are bursting forth with their leaves. The tulips are beautiful, and all is green and lush. You will look forward to this when you get home. I golfed 18 holes today - a first at St. G's in two years, and I played "ok". I'm exhausted, but it's a good tired. Always busy with babysitting the grandchildren, and seeing Mum as often as possible. We miss you at bridge, and will look forward to your stories when you return. Continue to enjoy your time in Togo - it must be amazing!! Safe journey home. love from Nora

proud of you and the work you are doing.

All is well at home. I am staying up late and sleeping in like I always revert to when you are away.

Toronto got swept by the RedSox but then won the first two games against the A's but lost today in a close one. They are 12 and 13.

Sandra is all happy with her new Chinese contract and is probably moving home for the rest of the summer till she leaves in September. She wants to learn Mandarin. She did think that eventually being a TA with challenged kids might be a good job in the future.

Phil is doing well this week and goes into Sunday tied for second. They are playing at Quail Hallow in Charlotte,NC which is beautiful.

I am off to Mom's on Monday and Tuesday so away from a computer. She seems real cheery on the phone.

Hope all is going well for you. How hot is hot?

Hello from vous ami, Jan
I just loved to see you, Janice in Togo with a smiling line of children. You and yourSCAW group are making a difference as we know. Glad to know that two children with malaria were given medicine and with those new nets let's hope that others are spared.
Spring is looking wonderful in Ontario with the Crab Trees about to bloom just in time for your homecoming. I was glad to read that one of your stops was 25 celcius. Hopefully the weather person will be on your side. All of you keep well. Missed you at the symphony last night.
Keep up the great work that you're doing!!!

Hello Team Togo

Sleeping Children Around The World is such a gift ... in so many ways, to everyone associated with it.

Togo team's Live Updates have been wonderful to read. Yesterday's description of Carolyn Carere's courage, and Carolyn's experiences with "her two new children" and their families in Togo were so moving.

Bless you all. Keep safe, and we look forward to seeing you soon.

I am interested in the daily weather report that accompanies the blog. I would not do well in that heat and humidity, and admire your effort and determination to get the job done. What an amazing number of bedkits that have been distributed already! Looking forward to hearing more about your experience when you return...lamb dinner to schedule! Take care, Sheila

HI Team Togo 2010

Congratulations on completing your distribution, the photos tell a thousand tales... You have no doubt touched the lives of many: the donors, the children, their families, the Togolese volunteers, your blog readers and without a doubt, your own.

We are proud to have you represent us all!

Have safe flights home.
