Glad you all arrived safely, despite the snowstorm back home, and got a little sleep with 3 in your room!. Thinking of you all-and wishing you the best, especially my friend Pat---on her first SCAW distribution! Exciting times for all especially the beautiful children who receive their special gift from Canada.

Helen and Jim, Glad to hear that you arrived safely, if tired in Mumbai. News update from Ayr, the annual meeting was uneventful. All is well!

Thanks Kristein for that powerful diary of "a day with Amin". Anyone asking about the value of the bed kit should be told that story.

Hi Pat and the team---loved your adventuresome shopping trip! Leave it to the gals!!! And yes reality hits home when you realize the contents of a bedkit would take a year's salary. Thanks to all donors!

Wow, 1200 bedkits!!!! What an amazing day and to end it with a celebration is definitely fitting! When you think of the ripple effect of this day.....we can never imagine the number of lives and the people who have been touched.
Thank you for all the love and energy that was so genuinely shared!

Hello again Team Mumbai...Pat, what a great report!
Sounds like you had a very exciting day...lots of emotions...before you even got to the village...and then completing 900 bedkits!
What an awesome idea to follow a child from beginning to end...I would love to see those pictures!

Hi Bill and team
Just back from a tour of Myanmar (Burma) and enjoyed your blogs. One time coming back from a distribution in Sri Lanks we went round a corner and caught an elephant in our headlights charging down the road toward us...no one had their cameras out. We backed up in a hurry and heard it crashing through the woods before we proceeded.

Hi Pat and all the team---what an experience you had with the swarm of bees at the distribution. Only SCAW volunteers would cope so well, assist the children and families and eventually bring those beautiful smiles as they received the bedkit. Well done ---yet again. Safe trip home.
