Hi Tom and Chennai Team -- Hurrah!! It sounds as if you are off to a great start. A Super Blog, Tom, capturing the spirit of exuberant enthusiasm and high expectations of your Team on the one hand, and the sense of challenge and "hard work" in the humid heat which is so much a part of the Distribution experience. Give my love and regards to your wonderful Rotarian hosts. Gray Cavanagh, 31 January 2010

Mrs. Gayman and Chennai Team:

Thank you for taking the time out of your rest periods (well deserved!) to give us a little taste of what life is like for you in India. Many of the reports are very touching and bring me close to tears. You are all doing very good and much-needed work, so thank you for making the world a better place. Maybe SCAW should bring some portable garbage cans with it when it travels as my fiancee would be very upset to hear that garbage is simply thrown on the ground.

I hope you're all well, and look forward to reading the next update. All the best,

Sean Simpson

Hi Tom and team: You seem to be working very hard and I guess that all those hours at the YMCA Gym paid off??? Compared to Ottawa the weather something else seems like two extremes!!
We wish you well on your journeys and know you will be given the strength to complete all that is thrown at you. With prayers and love,

Thanks Tom for your report on the conversations with parents of the bedkit recipients. it is good to be reminded of the conditions of the families. It is also important for those families to realize where the gift came from - "children helping children" is a powerful message.

Hey Bill,

Love reading the blogs and getting to see a glimpse of what you volunteers are doing. Thank goodness there are generous and giving people like yourselves in the world. I am getting a real sense of life for those less fortunate than ourselves on the other side of the world.

Hi Tom
It was a real pleasure to know you and your friends. (My wife and I were in the same bay, when you were travelling to Sivakasi, 1st Feb wasn't it?)
Most of us just think well of others, wish no evil, and consider ourselves to be angels !!!
But what you guys are doing is wonderful !
Wish you and the entire SCAW team of volunteers, the very best in every venture. Keep up the good work, you are setting a great example for us to follow.
