We are so proud of what you guys are doing..... helping these children and their families. We love you and miss you and are so looking forward to hearing about your experience. I'm glad you are having a good time.
What a wonderful story about your sweater..... That was God's way of saying thank you..... Both the children and I thank you for your generosity of spirit.
Hi George, following your trip on the blogs. Lots of children will be more comfortable at night because of the good work of your team. Thank you. Patti Foster
Your story about the hand-knit sweater is wonderful! My Mom used to knit a lot of sweaters for me, my siblings, and our grandchildren I hope they are being worn proudly by children who need them. My husband used to have the same style sweater when he was a boy, but it was red and white.
Hello George, Warren and the Kolkata Team: Sounds like everything is going extremely well. Continue the geat work of SCAW. Have a great time and enjoy the sites, sounds and the children of India. Enjoy the rest of the distributions and safe travels. Brother Mike
Marianne - What a wonderful story! I believe in angels and this is certainly an example of angel work. No matter who knit that sweater, the memories of your mother and sons helped make your day.
Keep up the good work and send us lots of photos and stories.
Hi Gail. I watched the slide show from day 1. Lots of pics. I can't believe the lineup. Wow. Great work you guys are doing. Nice hat Gail. LOL. Be safe all of you. Miss you hon. See you soon.
I miss you. Say "hi" to lots of children for me. I miss you so much. Can't wait till you get back. I am going to make you a picture and a card. I love you so much and I am going to see Grandpa today. We saw all of the pictures. Say "hi" to Auntie Marianne for me. Take some pictures for me and I'll see you next week. I can't wait till you get back. I love you.
Hi Marianne, I'm sure it's the same sweater, the colour is EXACTLY the same as the one your mom knit for me. I still have mine...since my size has not changed in the last few years :-) Love, the hub
I am from Rotary Club of Dum Dum. So proud to be the host of such great souls. May God bless all those who have sent their good wishes and may He give us strength to complete this task successfully.
Hello Team Kolkata: What memories you are bringing back to me from my days in Kolkata starting with the first distribution in 1999.(I think) Rotarian Ghosh and his fellow Rotarians sound like they are as well or better organized then they were back then. Warren I did not recognize you without an apron---more good memories of Togo. Hard to believe that some of the children you are distributing bedkits too, were not even born when SCAW started distributing bedkits in Kolkata. Thank you Murray and Margaret Dryden for giving us the foresight to move forward and help these children. HASOO HASOO everyone Clarence
Hi Dad, It looks like you are having an amazing trip. It is great to read about the distributions and the great work you are all doing! Take care and see you in couple weeks. Love Janice

Hi Edie and Team Kolkata - So good to read your blogs and I can just imagine the thrills experienced by the children you meet. Edie I still remember your "face to face" handovers of bedkits when we were together in the Philippines in 2004.
It brings tears of joy to read your blogs from Kolkata, where I was part of the 2003 SCAW team, most especially about your experience at Mother Teresa's. Godspeed. Kay Mountford
