HI Marianne from Fonthill, ON

Your story about the hand-knit sweater is wonderful! My Mom used to knit a lot of sweaters for me, my siblings, and our grandchildren I hope they are being worn proudly by children who need them. My husband used to have the same style sweater when he was a boy, but it was red and white.

God bless!

Marianne - What a wonderful story! I believe in angels and this is certainly an example of angel work. No matter who knit that sweater, the memories of your mother and sons helped make your day.

Keep up the good work and send us lots of photos and stories.

Hi Marianne,
I'm sure it's the same sweater, the colour is EXACTLY the same as the one your mom knit for me. I still have mine...since my size has not changed in the last few years :-)

I am from Rotary Club of Dum Dum. So proud to be the host of such great souls. May God bless all those who have sent their good wishes and may He give us strength to complete this task successfully.

Hello Team Kolkata:
What memories you are bringing back to me from my days in Kolkata starting with the first distribution in 1999.(I think) Rotarian Ghosh and his fellow Rotarians sound like they are as well or better organized then they were back then. Warren I did not recognize you without an apron---more good memories of Togo. Hard to believe that some of the children you are distributing bedkits too, were not even born when SCAW started distributing bedkits in Kolkata. Thank you Murray and Margaret Dryden for giving us the foresight to move forward and help these children.
HASOO HASOO everyone

Hi Edie and Team Kolkata - So good to read your blogs and I can just imagine the thrills experienced by the children you meet. Edie I still remember your "face to face" handovers of bedkits when we were together in the Philippines in 2004.

Enjoy the memories. Sally Jo
