Glad to hear you made it OK and have started the distribution. We are back into winter weather here, snow squalls etc., so don't get used to the heat and sunshine!!

Wow, a motorcycle escort. Is that a SCAW first?

Hi team - The motorcycle escort has been used in the past to get the SCAW team through heavy traffic. I remember a similar one in 2004. What a way to feel special!

All the best to the Kiwanis team who do so much to ensure that everything goes well.

Cheers to all - Sally Jo Martin

Hello Team Philippines.... Pretty hot there I see by your posting. Bring some of that heat back to Ontario please.. It's freezing here. I personally have set up 4 libraries in the Philippines in 2 towns in Quezon Province. I asked caretakers in public schools to put aside books (computers too)and sent them using a Filipino transport company. $80/3 foot cube...no weight restriction as when full of books it is very heavy. Since the Filipino education is in English our books are very valuable. Thanks team Philippines for all that you do for the children.

Hi to the Philippines Team
Walter & Marian MacDougald are pleased to read about your bedkit experiences in the Philippines. Glad to see a picture of the team -- keep the bedkits rolling out and helping those children have a good night's sleep. Enjoy the experience Sharon and we will hear about it when you get home.
