I am really happy to know that SCAW has such a wonderful project of providing bedkits to so many poor, marginalised and in quite a number of cases, unwanted children in India. I look forward to meeting your team at Badu Road on 18th. January, 2009. My only gratitude to your team and the wonderful donors in Canada and elsewhere, are my sincere prayers for your well being and prosperity always.

Glad to know you're underway. Too bad about the flight delays. India is a really huge country, if alternate airport, Hyderabad, is 12,000 km away from Kiolkata!
Stan was filling some of us in, based on Jan's phone calls.
Keep up the good work.

Great work again this year! Way to go, Leader Irene and Team! I loved seeing the pictures, and remember so many of the Rotarians and their spouses. How nice to see them, as well as Tapan in one of the pictures. You are on the downhill now, and will be home to snowy Ontario before you know it. Lots and lots of snow!!! Please let Jan Pearce know that I miss her and I have been following the blog, voice mails and one email with great interest. Unfortunately, most calls have been on voice mail. Would it be possible to agree to a set time for a phone call so I can make sure I am here to receive it? I can't return calls to the cell phone number. Anytime except Friday evening and Saturday morning (during Out of the Cold time Jan).

I am relaying all communication to the rest of our family and friends who are keenly interested as well.

We are all proud of your commitment and dedication to the distribution. You all should be proud that your efforts ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!!

Stan Pearce

Wow - you sure are a resourceful group - on-road van repairs, barge travel. I suspect a good thing you didn't see the tigers - sound dangerous to me.
Glad to know you are doing ok.
Jan - Stan admitted to me that he was lonely - although he's been skiing up a storm I think.
Keeping you in my prayers.
